Both products run a venue rather than just take a booking, so this is not the usual "they book, we operate" comparison. The two real differences are narrower and easier to test: how much of your business is courts, and where your money settles. If you are a tennis or pickleball club in the United States running leagues and open play, the honest answer may be that you are already in the right place — and this page says where.
Naming this first, because a comparison page that finds no fault with itself is not worth reading.
Ladders, divisions, round-robin generation, fixtures that reshuffle when a player withdraws. This is a category of its own and a racquet-club platform has spent years on it. We have not, and a table that pretended otherwise would be the sort of thing our own comparison rules exist to prevent.
Drop-in sessions where players check in, get sorted by rating and rotate across courts for a couple of hours. It is the defining product of the pickleball boom, it is genuinely fiddly to run, and it is built into platforms made for that market.
A day view of every court with bookings dragged around it, member lookups, and a check-in flow that assumes a club counter with a queue at it. If your staff already work that way, familiarity is worth real money and we will not pretend a migration is free.
Most of the comparison collapses into these. Answer them and you will know which side of the table you belong on before reading it.
A racquet platform assumes a grid of near-identical courts. That assumption is efficient right up until your site also holds a floodlit pitch that splits into thirds, six swim lanes sold by lane, a studio on a timetable, and ten jetskis with a turnaround gap between hires. Each of those wants its own slot length, its own rate card and its own booking window — and a hall that is sometimes one space and sometimes three courts has to be impossible to double-sell.
Software written for North American clubs is usually excellent at North American payments. Outside that, the question is whether you can connect your own gateway, settle in your own currency, into your own bank, without a commission per booking on top of the subscription. In the Gulf this is frequently where an evaluation ends, because a platform that cannot pay out locally cannot be used at all, however good the calendar is.
Both products take a court booking, apply a member rate and bill it. This is the rest.

| Real Sports Bookings | Racquet-club platforms (e.g. CourtReserve) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is built around | A multi-sport venue — courts, pitches, lanes, studios, craft, coaching, academies, memberships and the money. | A racquet club — courts, the members on them, and the programme they play in. |
| Court hire and member rates | Rate per resource, peak and off-peak bands, minimum lengths, booking windows, gaps between bookings, member pricing applied automatically. | Their coreLong-established and well made for racquet sports. |
| Leagues, ladders & open play | Not our depth. We run court hire, classes, coaching and academy programmes — ladder and round-robin mechanics are a category we have not built. | StrongerDivisions, fixtures, rotations and rated drop-in play. If this is your main weekly product, stay put. |
| Sports that are not courts | Built inPitches split into sections, pool lanes, studio timetables, watersports craft with turnaround gaps — each with its own rules on one calendar. | Possible to model as courts, but the assumptions are racquet-shaped. |
| Nested resources | YesA hall sold whole or as three courts, so the same floor can never be sold twice. | Courts are generally discrete. |
| Academies & junior programmes | YesSquads by age group, term enrolment, coach-taken registers, one invoice to a parent with two children in different squads, sibling rates as a rule. | Lessons and clinics are well covered; junior term billing to a parent varies by platform. |
| Memberships & credits | On every plan including the free one. One balance spends on a court hour, a class or a coaching session. | Member billing is a strength — check which tier holds the parts you need. |
| Payments & settlement | Your accountYour own Stripe, Checkout.com or Paymob, settling straight to you, no commission from us. Paymob matters in the Gulf. | Strong in North America. Outside it, confirm the currencies and payout countries supported. |
| Pricing shape | FlatOne flat monthly price for Pro however many courts you run, billed on bookings per month. Published on our pricing page. Free to start, no commission, no fixed term. | Typically tiered by the size of the club. Price it at the size you will be in two years. |
| Your own brand | Branded booking page on every plan, link it or embed it. On Custom: your own domain, customer log-in, your own iOS and Android apps. | A member app is part of the offer — check what is your brand and what is theirs. |
| AI growth layer | IncludedReal Sports OS audits your online presence, finds the hours that are not selling in your own booking data and drafts the campaign to fill them. | Not part of the product. |
We do not publish other companies' prices or screenshots: their plans change and a stale number here is worse than none. The right-hand column describes racquet-club platforms generally, from public materials as of August 2026 — check the specifics, and the tier you would actually need, with them directly. CourtReserve is a trademark of its owner; we are not affiliated with them, and nothing here is a statement about their service quality.
Feature grids rarely cover any of this, and it is usually what actually decides the purchase.
You connect your own Stripe, Checkout.com or Paymob account and takings land in your bank, in your currency, with no commission from us on top of the subscription. A venue in Dubai or Riyadh should confirm local payout support before comparing anything else, because a platform that cannot settle locally is not a candidate.
Outside the racquet-club model the normal shape is mixed: padel next to a five-a-side pitch next to a pool and a studio, often with an academy running through all of it. That is the venue we are built for, and reporting stays readable across it — per sport, per resource, per hour, then rolled up.
On Custom, the booking journey runs on your domain with your own iOS and Android apps and customer log-in, rather than a members' area that carries someone else's name. On Starter and Pro the booking page still carries your logo and colours, and embeds into your existing site.
Probably not, and we would rather say so on this page than three calls into a sales process. Ladder leagues, round-robin generation and rotating open-play sessions with skill levels are the heart of a racquet-club platform and they are not our depth. If that weekly programme is your main product, stay where you are. Talk to us when courts become one part of a bigger site.
No. Pro is a flat monthly price whether you run four courts or forty, and we bill on bookings taken per month rather than on courts, members or staff seats. Club platforms are commonly tiered by club size, so if you are comparing, price both options at the size you expect to be in two years rather than the size you are now.
Yes. You connect your own Stripe, Checkout.com or Paymob account and money settles directly to you — we take no commission on a booking. Paymob is the one that matters in the Gulf, where some platforms cannot pay out locally at all. This is the question that decides the comparison for most venues outside North America, so check what any vendor actually supports in your market before anything else.
Yes, and that is the case for us rather than against a racquet platform. Each resource keeps its own slot lengths, rates and booking windows, and resources can nest — a hall sold as one space or as three courts, so the same floor cannot be double-sold. Revenue and utilisation then read per sport, per resource and per hour, and roll up to the venue.
On the Custom plan, yes: your own Android and iOS apps, a white-label booking page on your own domain, and customer accounts and log-in. On Starter and Pro you get a booking page carrying your logo, colours and imagery, which you can link to from your website or embed directly into it — both included on every plan, including the free one. Only serving it on your own domain is a Custom item.
Free to start, your own payment account, no commission, no fixed term.
